No pressure. No obligation. Just come experience it.
The free-session offer, guest option, Florida-resident requirement and no-card policy are all part of the current offer.
The combination of sound, gentle vibration and a reclined environment is designed to help the body settle into a deeply relaxed state.
Research suggests vibroacoustic stimulation may have potential as a tool for supporting relaxation and stress management.
Low-frequency vibration creates a gentle physical sensation throughout the body that tension.
Unlike simply listening to music through headphones, Vibroacoustic Therapy allows you to physically experience the sound through the lounger.
More Than Listening to Music
Feel Sound Move Through Your Body
Vibroacoustic Therapy, often called VAT or Soundwave Therapy, uses low-frequency sound transmitted through a specially equipped lounger.
At Scape, sound frequencies are converted into gentle physical vibrations that you can feel through your back, legs and body while relaxing.
Instead of sound reaching you only through your ears, the experience combines:
Hear relaxing audio through the system.
Feel low-frequency sound waves physically through the lounger.
Recline into a comfortable supported position while you experience the session. Together, they create an immersive sensory environment designed around relaxation and wellness.
The Technology Behind the Experience
Oakworks Curva + SoVi Vibroacoustic System
Scape delivers Vibroacoustic Therapy using the Oakworks Curva lounger equipped with the SoVi system.
The SoVi system is specifically designed to turn audio into an immersive sound-and-vibration experience.
The SoVi system contains eight vibration elements built directly into the lounger: 4 in the backrest 4 in the leg section This allows vibration to be experienced across a larger portion of the body rather than from a single vibration source.
Built-in stereo speakers complement the physical vibration, allowing you to simultaneously hear and feel the audio experience.
The SoVi system is designed to work with different audio content, including:
Music
Guided relaxation
Meditation audio
Binaural-beat content
Vibroacoustic-specific sound experiences
Traditional music reaches your body primarily through the ears.
Vibroacoustic Therapy adds another dimension.
Scape’s system uses low-frequency audio vibrations, generally within approximately 30–120 Hz, that are transmitted through the lounger and physically felt by the body.
Lower sound frequencies create vibrations you can experience as gentle pulsing, resonance or movement through the surface beneath you.
There’s nothing you need to do.
Simply recline, listen and allow yourself to experience the combination of sound and vibration.
You don’t need to meditate perfectly.
You don’t need to concentrate on your breathing.
You don’t need to do anything.
Lie back. Listen. Feel. Relax.
At Scape, Vibroacoustic Therapy is experienced while reclining in an Oakworks Curva zero-gravity lounger.
Zero-gravity positioning supports the body in a reclined position while distributing weight along the lounger.
That supported position complements the Vibroacoustic Therapy experience by allowing you to settle in while sound and vibration move through the lounger beneath you.
No workout.
No physical treatment.
No complicated instructions.
Just get comfortable and let the experience happen.
Reserve your complimentary wellness session online at a time that works for you.
When you arrive, the Scape team will introduce you to the studio and explain how the different wellness technologies work.

During your complimentary visit, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore the other wellness technologies available at Scape.
The current first-visit experience includes approximately 20–30 minutes of orientation, followed by time to experience the available therapies at your own pace.

Sometimes sitting quietly and telling yourself to relax doesn’t work.
Scape uses technology to make the experience more immersive.
Music and sound create the auditory environment.
Low-frequency audio is transformed into gentle vibration that you physically feel.
The Curva lounger supports your body while you relax.
No therapist is required. Once you're oriented, simply settle in and experience it at your own pace. .
The result is a different approach to relaxation—one that engages both the body and the senses.
Low-frequency sound and vibration have been studied for their potential effects on relaxation and the body’s stress response.
Research into Vibroacoustic Therapy is still developing, but studies have explored its potential in areas including:
The key here is not to promise a medical outcome.
Vibroacoustic Therapy should be presented as a wellness and relaxation experience, not as a treatment for a medical or psychological condition.
Vibroacoustic Therapy, or VAT, combines sound with low-frequency vibration.
Instead of only hearing audio, low-frequency sound is transmitted through a specially equipped surface so that vibration can also be physically felt by the body.
At Scape, VAT is delivered through an Oakworks Curva lounger equipped with the SoVi vibroacoustic system.
You'll hear audio while simultaneously feeling gentle vibration through the lounger.
The experience can vary based on the audio and frequencies being played, but many people describe it as an immersive combination of sound and physical vibration.
You simply lie back and experience it.
No.
Music may be part of the experience, but the major difference is that the SoVi system transforms elements of the audio into physical vibration.
So you're not only hearing sound.
You're feeling it.
Vibroacoustic Therapy generally uses low-frequency sound.
Scape currently describes its Vibroacoustic Therapy experience as using audio frequencies in approximately the 30–120 Hz range.
Scape uses an Oakworks Curva lounger equipped with a SoVi system.
The SoVi system has eight vibration elements embedded within the lounger—four in the backrest and four in the leg section—along with integrated stereo speakers.
The embedded vibration elements allow low-frequency audio to be physically transmitted through different areas of the lounger.
This helps create a more immersive full-body experience rather than relying on a single vibration point.
The SoVi system contains built-in stereo speakers, so the experience can be delivered without requiring headphones.
The SoVi system can support a variety of audio experiences, including music, guided meditation, relaxation audio, binaural-beat content and sound designed specifically for vibroacoustic experiences.
Zero gravity refers to a supported reclined position designed to distribute the body's weight along the lounger.
At Scape, the Curva lounger allows you to experience Vibroacoustic Therapy while comfortably reclined.
Research has explored Vibroacoustic Therapy for relaxation, stress management and general well-being, with some promising findings around relaxation. Research remains limited and continues to evolve, so Vibroacoustic Therapy is offered as a relaxation experience.
Vibroacoustic stimulation has been studied for its potential role in stress management and relaxation.
A small randomized study found physiological changes associated with stress response following low-frequency sound vibration, but researchers have also emphasized that more research is needed.
